The Geometry of Decay and Insolation

Limited Edition of 15
Description
This evocative composition explores the psychological erosion that occurs when liberty is obstructed. The frame is dominated by a rhythmic pattern of harsh, linear shadows reminiscent of cell bars that slice across a weathered concrete surface. Scattered within this geometric confinement are fallen leaves in varying stages of desiccation, their vibrant golds and ambers fading into the gray stone. The interplay between the organic forms of the leaves and the rigid structure of the shadows serves as a poignant metaphor for the human condition under restraint. It captures the quiet, agonizing process of "withering" that takes place when life is viewed through a filter of interruption, suggesting that without the wholeness of freedom, the spirit eventually surrenders to the shadows.
